The typical cost of a divorce through our process is approximately $1,500 to $3,500, including all paperwork and filing costs. The exact cost will depend on how many hours of mediation you need, which mediator you work with, and whether there are children involved in your case (see Paperwork and Filing Flat Fees, below).
For non-divorce and non-custody cases, the cost is based on a simple hourly fee.
During your initial consultation, you and your mediator can explore price estimates in more detail.

Rob Jepson, Esq. - $300/hr for joint sessions | $150/hr for one-on-one sessions
Jennifer Frahm - $200/hr for joint sessions | $100/hr for one-on-one sessions
Alicia Vaivai - $150/hr for joint sessions | $75/hr for one-on-one sessions
Adalyn Bennett - $150/hr for joint sessions | $75/hr for one-on-one sessions
Justin Turscanski - $150/hr for joint sessions | $75/hr for one-on-one sessions
Don Rowley - $150/hr for joint sessions | $75/hr for one-on-one sessions
There is a two-hour minimum deposit for each joint session and a one-hour minimum for each one-on-one session.
For divorce and custody cases, our firm can prepare and submit all paperwork required by the Utah State Courts.
- For cases involving children, the flat fee is $750, plus the Court's mandatory filing fee of $358.
- For cases not involving children, the flat fee is $500, plus the Court's mandatory filing fee of $358.
Flat fee payments are collected once the parties have reached and signed a full agreement.
